Where does the music walk start and finish?
The route starts at the Demokratieglocke in central Leipzig and finishes back at the same spot, so you end where you began. Along the way you pass the MDR-Tower, St. Thomas Church, the Bach Monument, Marktplatz, Mädler Passage, Nikolaikirche, the University, the Gewandhaus and the Oper.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan for around 1.5 to 2 hours to cover the 2.1 km loop, including time for the stories and puzzles at each stop. You can pause whenever you like, stop for a coffee in the old town, and continue later from where you left off.
