It starts at Gibson Hall on the University of Arkansas campus and finishes at the Lower Ramble downtown, so it does not return to the start. Along the 2.6 km route you pass the Chi Omega Greek Theatre, Old Main, Senior Walk, George's Majestic Lounge, the Walton Arts Center, TheatreSquared and the Fayetteville Public Library.
How long does it take?
Most players take around 1.5 to 2 hours, including the walking and the puzzles at each stop. You do not have to finish in one go: you can pause the game and carry on later from where you stopped.
Can we play as a group of friends or roommates?
Yes. The quest is free to play, so a group of roommates or friends can follow the case together on campus and downtown, comparing alibis and solving the clues as a team.
Do we need to book a time or meet a guide?
No. There is no group to join and no guide. You play on your phone, start at Gibson Hall whenever suits you, and the app leads you from place to place, telling the story of each stop and setting a puzzle there.
