POUFNE / OPIS SPRAWY
Tu zaczyna się historia.
You know the old saying, “The boyfriend did it”? On an ill-fated night, love goes terribly wrong for Bella Wanderlust and Walter Bridges.
Bella, a famous travel blogger, was found dead during a ghost tour led by the theatrical Percy Shadows. Now, it’s up to you to uncover the truth.
Was it Walter, the obsessed boyfriend? Percy, the ghost tour guide with a flair for the dramatic? Or is someone else hiding in the shadows?
🔎 Gather clues, interrogate suspects, and expose the real murderer before they strike again. Make sure to have your pen and paper ready to jot down all the crucial evidence.
Czy to dla was?
Dla kogo jest
Over about 1.6 km of Downers Grove streets, you spend around 90 minutes questioning suspects in the death of travel blogger Bella Wanderlust, found dead during a ghost tour. It suits couples on a date night, friends, birthday groups and families with teens who want to do the detective work themselves. Anyone hoping for a staged dinner show or an indoor escape room should pick something else.

Kilka odpowiedzi przed wyjściem
Często zadawane pytania
Is there a murder mystery in Downers Grove that doesn't need a venue?
Yes. This murder mystery is played outdoors on the streets of Downers Grove, with no venue, host or actors. Your phone leads you from place to place while you gather clues, interrogate suspects and decide whether the boyfriend, the ghost tour guide or someone else is guilty.
How is this different from an escape room in Downers Grove?
An escape room keeps you in one indoor room. Here you walk about 1.6 km outdoors, solving puzzles set in what is in front of you as the story unfolds. You start whenever you like, play on your own phones and can pause and continue later.
Can we do it today, or do we need to book a time?
There is no time slot to book. The quest is self-guided, so you can start any time that suits your group, with no guide to meet. That makes it an easy last-minute plan if you are looking for something to do in the Chicago suburbs today.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes, covering about 1.6 km on foot. You can pause along the way, stop for a break and pick the investigation up again later, so there is no need to finish it in one go.
Is it suitable for kids, and can we play as a group?
The story centres on a death and asks you to interrogate suspects, so it suits teens and older kids more than young children. One ticket covers your whole group, and everyone can follow the clues on their own phone while you solve the case together.
