On your first day as a new hire at the Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant, you’re assigned to Reactor 4 – an old, dark, and grungy section known for its flawless safety record... until today.Suddenly, a catastrophic Code Red emergency! 

Alarms blare, bells ring, and smoke fills the plant. You must repair all critical systems and stabilize the nuclear core before disaster strikes.

Is this a tour of the Cernavodă nuclear reactor?
No. The reactor emergency is the story, but you play it outdoors in town. You walk a loop past places such as the port, the Axiopolis local history museum, the riverside park and the Heroes' Monument, solving puzzles along the way. You do not enter the power plant.
Where does the quest start and how long does it take?
It starts and finishes at Podul Saligny, the Saligny Bridge, so you end up back where you began. The route is about 3.6 km and takes around 90 minutes, a little longer if you linger at the viewpoint or the riverside park. You can pause and continue later.
Is it suitable for children?
It suits families with older children who enjoy puzzles and a story with some tension. The plot is a Code Red emergency with alarms and smoke, and the puzzles are built on what you see around you, so younger children may need plenty of help.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
There is no time slot to book. You start whenever you like, with no guide and no other group to join. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, and everyone follows the same story together.
Is the route outdoors, and what should we bring?
The whole walk is outdoors, along streets, bridges, the port and the riverside park, with little shade on parts of the route. Wear a hat and sunscreen and carry enough water, especially on warm days, as you will be walking for around 90 minutes.
