Is this like a murder mystery game?
It is a mystery game, built around ghosts rather than a murder. Each of ten spirits is stuck on unfinished business. You solve its mystery to earn a clue, follow the trail across town, then name the Evil One among them and destroy it. You play it yourselves on your phone.
How long does the ghost hunt take and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes and about 2.5 km on foot. There is no fixed schedule, so you can go at your own pace, stop for a break and pick the game up again later on your phone.
Is it suitable for kids?
It works best for older kids. The theme is horror and haunts, with an Evil One to unmask, and the puzzles include ciphers and riddles, some of which you can only answer by looking at the street around you. Younger or easily frightened children may find it too much.
Do we need to book a time slot, and can our group play together?
No booking of a time is needed. Start whenever you like, with no guide and no other group to join. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends or family can hunt the spirits together.
Is it played outdoors?
Yes. The trail takes you through the streets of Arlington, and some riddles can only be solved by what you see in front of you there. Dress for the weather, and if it rains you can pause the game and continue later.
