Is there an app for the unicorn hunt in Milan?
Yes. The quest is played on your phone through the Questo app. It leads you from stop to stop, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you, while the animals you meet along the way give clues to help you track down the unicorn.
Where does the unicorn quest in Milan start and end?
It starts at the Fawns and loops back there at the finish. Along the way you pass stops named Unicorn, Sow, Snake, Bull, Horse, Eagle, Zoomorphic, Bees and Flamingos, covering about 3.3 km in total.
How long does it take, and is it good for young children?
Plan on about an hour for the 3.3 km walk. The story and animal clues are aimed at young children, especially unicorn and animal fans, as long as they can manage that distance on foot. You can pause the quest and continue later if little legs need a rest.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
There is no time slot to book: start whenever you like, with no guide and no group to join. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, and no attraction tickets are needed anywhere on the route.
Can we play in the evening, and could anything affect the route?
It is an outdoor walk best done in daylight, and playing at night is not recommended. Temporary construction work may affect parts of the route and some checkpoints, so allow a little flexibility as you follow the app from stop to stop.
