Veelgestelde vragen
Is there a self-guided detective game in Melbourne?
Yes. This detective mystery is played on your phone on the streets around University Square in Carlton. The app leads you from stop to stop, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you while you work to expose a secret society.
Where does the game start and finish?
It starts at University Square and finishes back there, so you end where you began. On the way the route passes places such as Melbourne Connect, Lincoln Square, Piazza Italia and the Kathleen Syme Library and Community Centre.
How long does it take and how far will we walk?
Allow around 90 minutes for about 2.4 km of walking, plus any time you spend stopping for food or a drink along the way. You can pause the game and continue later if you need a break.
Is it suitable for children?
It is aimed at adults and families with teenagers. The story is a conspiracy plot about a secret society manipulating world leaders, and the puzzles involve decoding secrets, so it suits teens and older players better than young children.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
No booking slot is needed: start any time that suits you, with no guide or set group to join. One ticket covers your whole group. The game is played outdoors, so bring a jacket or umbrella if rain is forecast.
