Does Madrid have an old town, and does this walk cover it?
It does, and the route runs through it. Stops include Plaza Mayor, the Mercado de San Miguel, Plaza de la Cebada, Plaza Puerta de Moros, San Francisco el Grande and Plaza de Oriente, taking in the streets of La Latina along the way.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the Inquisition Dungeons and ends back there, so the walk is a loop. In between you pass through 12 more stops, from Calle de la Ventosa and Plaza de la Cruz Verde to Calle del Rollo, Plaza Mayor and Calle de Isabel la Católica.
How long does it take and how far will we walk?
Plan on about 75 minutes, or a little longer if you linger, covering roughly 3.2 km on foot outdoors. It is best played during the day. You can pause whenever you like, stop for food at the market, and continue later.
