Lost in the haze of forgotten memories, you wander through the winding canals and painted boats of Little Venice, one of London's most quietly beautiful neighbourhoods.
A car accident took your past. Walking the streets of Maida Vale, along the Grand Union Canal, through the Clifton Nursery and the Rembrandt Gardens, you begin to piece it back together. Along the way, you'll have unexpected company: Alan Turing joins you from his own birth house, a South Pole explorer appears in a local bar, and Rembrandt himself sits beside you on a canal bench, each reflecting something of your own search back at you.
This self-guided walking tour of Little Venice is part puzzle walk, part dreamlike story, part quiet meditation on memory, loss, and what it means to move forward. One of the most distinctive outdoor escape games in London, perfect for a contemplative afternoon in one of the capital's most picturesque corners.

Where does the Little Venice walk start?
The walk starts and ends at The Colonnade, so you finish where you began. The route runs through Little Venice and Maida Vale beside the Grand Union Canal, crossing the Paddington Central footbridge and passing Rembrandt Gardens, The Summerhouse, Clifton Nurseries and Bristol Mews. The app guides you from stop to stop on your phone.
Is this a self-guided walking tour of Little Venice?
Yes. There is no guide and no group to join. The app leads you past the canals and painted boats, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you. A mystery about your lost memories runs through it, and Alan Turing joins you from his birth house.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Plan on about an hour and a half to cover 1.8 km, including time to read the stories and solve the puzzles at each stop. You can pause whenever you like and pick up where you left off later, so there is no need to finish in one go.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
No time slot is needed, so you can start whenever suits you. One ticket covers your whole group, playing on up to the number of devices stated for the quest. Everyone follows the same story and can work through the puzzles together as you walk.
Is it an outdoor walk, and what if it rains?
The route is outside, along the canal and through gardens and mews, so dress for the weather. Because you can pause the quest and continue later, you can wait out a shower or come back on a drier day without losing your progress.
