Een paar antwoorden voor vertrek
Veelgestelde vragen
Where does the detective game start in Chicago?
It starts in the Old Town Triangle District. From there the app leads you to stops such as Geja's Cafe, RJ Grunts, the Church of the Three Crosses, the Carlson Cottage, the Hans Christian Andersen Monument and the Old Town Triangle Art Center, 11 stops in all.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes to walk about 3.6 km and solve the puzzles along the way. You can pause at any point, stop for food or a drink, and continue the game later from where you left off.
Is it suitable for kids?
The story and puzzles are written with adults and teens in mind: you follow a whistleblower's leads, decode secrets and work out a conspiracy. Teens who enjoy codes and mysteries should get into it, while younger children may find the plot and the 90 minutes on foot hard going.
Do we need to book a time or meet a guide?
No. There is no guide and no group to join, so you start whenever you like on your phone. One ticket covers your whole group, so friends or family can play together and work through the clues as a team.
Is the game outdoors, and what if it rains?
Yes, it is an outdoor walk through the streets of Old Town, with puzzles set in what you see at each stop. If the weather turns, you can pause the game and pick it up again later without losing your progress.
