Friends and families who enjoy puzzle games get about two hours of time-travel story and site-based puzzles, looping from Marmorbroen past Rosenborg Castle, Amalienborg Palace, Nyhavn and the Round Tower. It covers the royal quarter and the old town in one outing. If 4.3 km on foot feels long, or you would rather ask a live guide about royal history than play a sci-fi mission, choose something shorter or guided.

What is the Cronophone in this Copenhagen quest?
The story casts you as a new beta tester at the fictional ChronoCore Industries. The Cronophone is the experimental time-travel device you carry, played on your own phone. With it you visit key sites, solve temporal puzzles and try to keep Copenhagen's history on track without leaving a trace.
Does the route pass Frederik's Church?
Yes. Frederik's Church is one of the stops, reached after Rosenborg Castle, the King's Garden and the Odd Fellow Palace, and just before Amalienborg Palace. The app tells the story of the place and sets a puzzle based on what you see there.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
It starts and ends at Marmorbroen, so you finish where you began. The loop covers 4.3 km and 13 stops, including Nyhavn Harbour, the Stork Fountain, the Round Tower and Copenhagen Cathedral. Plan on around two hours at a relaxed pace, plus any breaks you take.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated. There is no time slot to book and no guide to meet: start whenever you like. You can also pause partway, for example for a break at Nyhavn, and continue later.
Is it a good choice for children?
It suits families with children who enjoy puzzle games and can manage a 4.3 km walk lasting about two hours. The puzzles are tied to the places on the route, so kids stay involved. Very young children may find the distance and length too much.
