Întrebări frecvente
Is there a scavenger hunt in Fitzroy Gardens?
Yes. This self-guided quest leads you through Fitzroy and Treasury Gardens on your phone, with clues and light puzzles at 12 stops, from the Robert Burns Memorial and the Conservatory to the Scar Tree and the Dolphin Fountain. The app tells the story of each place as you go.
Does the walk include Captain Cook's Cottage?
Yes. Cook's Cottage is the fifth stop, after the Conservatory and before the Scar Tree. The app shares the story behind the cottage and sets a puzzle based on what you can see there, then guides you on through the gardens.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the Robert Burns Memorial and finishes at the People's Path. It is not a loop, so you end in a different spot from where you began. The route covers about 2 km through Fitzroy and Treasury Gardens.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take about an hour and a quarter, walking and puzzles included. There is no set start time, so begin whenever suits you, and you can pause and continue later. It is best played in daylight, as playing at night is not recommended.
Is it good for kids, and can we play as a group?
Yes, it suits families with children who can manage a 2 km walk and enjoy simple clues, as the puzzles are light. Groups of friends play well too, and one ticket covers the whole group playing together on one phone.
