Where does the detective game start and finish?
It starts at the Princess Kaʻiulani statue and is a loop, so you finish back where you began. Along the way the app leads you to the Duke Paoa Kahanamoku Statue, Surfboards Street and Centennial Park Waikiki before returning to the start.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take about two hours, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers around 2.7 km. You can pause at any point and continue later, so there is no need to rush through the stops.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the route. It works well for friends, couples on a date or a family with teens who want to work through the conspiracy clues side by side.
Is it suitable for kids?
It suits teens best. The story is a spy-style plot about exposing a secret society, and the puzzles involve decoding secrets in what you see around you. Younger children may find the theme and the two-hour length hard to stay with.
Do we need to book a time, and what if it rains?
