Yes. There is no set start time and no guide to meet, so you can begin whenever it suits you. Go to The Guildhall Door, start the game on your phone, and the app leads you from stop to stop at your own pace, beginning with Market Square.
How long does the quest take and how far is the walk?
Plan on about 2.5 to 3 hours for the 3.1 km route, including time for the stories and puzzles. It is a loop that starts and finishes at The Guildhall Door, and you can pause at any point, for example at The Eagle pub, then carry on later.
Can we play as a group on one ticket?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, and you play together on your phones. The quest is tagged as fun to do as a couple, so it works especially well for two people solving the puzzles side by side as they walk.
