Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the stop called Call of the Forest (Зов леса) and finishes at Return with the Gift (Возвращение с даром). The route is not a loop, so you end in a different spot from where you began, after about 3.1 km of walking.
How long does it take?
Most players take about two hours, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers around 3.1 km. You can pause at any point and continue later, so it is easy to fit in a snack break or split the walk over two outings.
Is it suitable for children?
It is marked family friendly, but the puzzles are rated advanced. It suits children of roughly 7 to 12 who like a challenge and can work through clues with an adult. Younger children may enjoy the hedgehog story but will likely need a lot of help with the puzzles.
Do we need to book a time, and when should we go?
No booking is needed. The route is open 24/7, so you can start whenever suits you, though it is better in daylight because the puzzles use what is in front of you. Make sure your phone is fully charged or bring a power bank.
