Qualche risposta prima di partire
Domande frequenti
Is this a good family activity in Tucson?
Yes. The story is written for children: Felix the fox has hidden Bunny's gems, and kids help find them by solving puzzles at each stop. It is a 2.5 km walk around the University of Arizona campus, played on a phone with no guide, and one ticket covers the whole family playing together.
How does this Tucson scavenger hunt work?
The app leads you from place to place across the University of Arizona campus, tells the story of each stop and sets a puzzle using what is in front of you. There are 11 stops, including Yuma Hall, Gila Hall, the University of Arizona Libraries and the African American Museum of Southern Arizona.
Where does it start and finish, and how long does it take?
The route is a loop that starts and ends at the Arizona State Museum. It covers about 2.5 km, and most families take around an hour and 45 minutes, including walking and solving the puzzles. Plan for close to two hours with younger children.
Can we do it today, or do we need to book a time?
There is no set time to book and no group to join. You can start whenever suits you, and you can pause the game and continue later if the children need a snack break or you want to stop for the day.
What age is it best for?
It suits children of roughly 5 to 12. The gem-hunting story and puzzles are pitched at that age, though children at the younger end may need help from an adult. Very young children may struggle with the 2.5 km walk.
