This 2 km loop starts and ends at Market Street Square, passing the trolley stop, the cinema and the hotel as you solve puzzles drawn from Baum's 1900 Oz novel. Groups of friends, families with kids or teens, couples and solo puzzle fans chasing the leaderboard get escape-room teamwork outdoors in around 90 minutes. Skip it if you want an indoor room or a live host giving hints.

Is there an outdoor escape room in The Woodlands, TX?
Yes. This game works like an escape room but takes place outdoors around Market Street. You follow clues from stop to stop and crack puzzles to outsmart the witch. It starts and finishes at Market Street Square, and there is no fixed time slot to book.
What is the Oz game and what happens in it?
It is a self-guided puzzle game played on your phone, with a new narrative inspired by L. Frank Baum's original 1900 Oz novel. You join a team of misfits, follow clues to each new location and solve puzzles to beat the witch. Original Oz-themed songs made for the game play in the app.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes for a walk of about 2 km. The route is a loop that begins and ends at Market Street Square, so you finish where you started. You can pause the game and continue later if you want a break along the way.
Can we play as a group, or can I play alone?
Both work. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends, families or work groups can solve the puzzles together. If you prefer to go solo, you can take on the witch's challenges by yourself and compete against the leaderboard.
Do we need to book a start time?
No. Unlike a traditional escape room, there is no booking slot. You start whenever suits you from Market Street Square, play at your own pace without a guide, and can pause and pick up again later. Keep in mind the whole game is played outdoors.
