Domande frequenti
Is there a self-guided alchemy tour in Prague's Old Town?
Yes. This quest is a self-guided walk through Old Town built around the story of your late great uncle, an alchemist and self-proclaimed seeker of truth. The app leads you from place to place, tells the story of each stop and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Palác Platýz and finishes at Charles Bridge, so it is not a loop. Along the way you pass Ann's Square, the Bethlehem Chapel, the House at the Two Golden Bears, Old Town Square and the Old-New Synagogue. The route covers about 5.2 km.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take about three hours, including walking and solving the puzzles. You can start any time without booking a slot, and you can pause the game and continue later, which helps if you want to stop for a coffee or split the route over a day.
Can we play it as a group of friends or family?
Yes. The game is designed to be played together, working through the riddles as a team. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so you only need one phone to lead the way. It is best played during the day.
Is it suitable for children?
It is recommended as a family activity, and the riddles give children something to solve at each stop. Keep in mind the walk is about 5.2 km and takes around three hours, so it suits children who are comfortable walking that far through the Old Town streets.
What’s the plot of this Prague mystery?
You inherited a strange letter from your alchemist great-uncle who dabbled in gold, astronomy & weird experiments. Now you have to follow his riddles across Old Town to claim your inheritance—or discover if his legacy was madness.
Will I see major Prague landmarks + hidden gems?
Yes. You’ll pass through Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, winding alleys, arcane landmarks, and spots many tourists skip. The quest weaves famous architecture with mysterious corners.
Is this good for a date night with a twist?
Absolutely. Imagine strolling cobblestone lanes under lanterns, solving puzzles together, the mist of the Vltava river in view, unveiling mystery hand-in-hand. Magical + eerie + memorable.
