L’esperienza
Informazioni su questa esperienza
Munich, 1938. Summer has passed, and a bitter wind sweeps across Germany as dark plans unfold.
The Nazi Party, led by Adolf Hitler, has gripped the nation—and its ambitions reach far beyond its borders. You are Henrick Nilsen, a Norwegian expat and British spy, walking the tightrope between truth and betrayal. Your mission: uncover hidden proof of Hitler’s fanaticism before it’s too late.
Follow real-world clues through Munich’s historical streets, solve puzzles at key locations tied to secret meetings and propaganda, and piece together a narrative that shaped the course of history. This is not just a walk—it’s a journey through danger, loyalty, and truth. Best played with a friend or ally. Will you expose the truth… or be silenced by it?
Fa per voi?
Per chi è
History travellers and WWII enthusiasts walk where the Nazi movement took shape, from the Hofbräuhaus and Feldherrnhalle to the Führerbau, solving puzzles as a British spy in 1938. Couples and families with older children get about two hours and 2.9 km of history at their own pace. With a story centred on Hitler's rise, young children and anyone wanting a live guide to question would do better with another Munich walk.

Domande frequenti
How do I download the app and play this self-guided Nazi history tour of Munich?
The tour is played in the Questo app on your phone. Download the app, open this quest and start at Königsplatz whenever you are ready. The app leads you from stop to stop, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle there, so there is no guide or meeting time.
Where does the tour start and which places does it visit?
It starts and finishes at Königsplatz, so it is a loop of about 2.9 km. Along the way you visit the Old Town Hall, Hofbräuhaus, Viscardigasse, Feldherrnhalle, the Hofgarten, Café Luitpold, Karolinenplatz, the site of the Braunes Haus (now the NS-Dokumentationszentrum) and the Führerbau.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Plan on about two hours for the full route of 2.9 km. You can pause at any point, stop for a drink at Hofbräuhaus or Café Luitpold, and continue later from where you left off. The walk is best done during the day.
Is it suitable for children?
It is recommended for families, but it suits older children best. The story follows a spy in 1938 searching for proof of Hitler's fanaticism, and the puzzles involve reading real places, secret meetings and propaganda, which younger children may find hard to follow or too dark.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the quest. There is no fixed start time and no group to join, so you can begin at Königsplatz whenever it suits you and walk at your own pace.
