Starting and ending at The Gate, this 3.1 km loop follows Godfrey, a knight cut off outside Maastricht's walls, past The Barracks, The Friar, The Prison and The Mill in about an hour and a half. Friends after open-air escape puzzles, or families with older children, will enjoy it together. Skip it if you want a live guide, or have children too young for chase and battle scenes.
