The game is played in the Questo app on your phone. Download it, open this Lyon quest and go to the starting point at the Hôtel de Ville de Lyon. There is no guide or group to meet, so you can start whenever you are ready.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the Hôtel de Ville de Lyon and finishes at the Statue of the Republic, so it does not return to the start. On the way you pass the Bartholdi Fountain, Maison Henri IV, the Tour Rose, the Long Traboule and the Passerelle Saint Georges.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Most players take about two hours, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers around 3.3 km through the old town. You can pause the game and continue later if you want a break along the way.
Does the route pass Lyon's cathedral?
Yes. Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste is one of the stops, reached after the Long Traboule and before you cross the Passerelle Saint Georges. The app tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle based on what is in front of you.
Can we play as a group, and can we start in the evening?
