The city feels older tonight. Heavier. Like something has been waiting a very long time for someone to come asking.
You've been recruited by the Bureau of Otherworldly Observation, and Agent Howl is handing you your first case: a district full of the dead, and a file nobody has ever managed to close.
Thirteen stops. Thirteen things this city would rather you didn't look at too closely. Some of them are waiting for you.
The dead here were real people, and they remember what the plaques leave out. Ask the right questions and they'll tell you. Ask the wrong ones and you'll find out why the file is still open.

Couples, friends and small groups of adults who like ghost stories and dark history get a puzzle-led ghost walk through Cluj-Napoca's old town, from Babos Palace past the Pharmacy Museum, the city walls and the Central Cemetery. Where does the ghost walk start and finish?
It starts at Babos Palace and finishes at the Statue of Virgin Mary, so it does not return to the start. In between, the app leads you through 13 stops, including the Franciscan Temple, the House of Matthias Corvinus, Rhédey Café, the city walls, the Central Cemetery and the Tailors' Tower.
How long does it take?
Most players take around 90 minutes, including the walking and the puzzles. The route is about 2.6 km through the old town, so plan for an easy-paced stroll with stops to read each story and solve what the app sets in front of you.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so couples, friends or a small group can share a phone and work through the case as a team. There is no wider group to join and no guide, so it is just the people you came with.
Do we need to book a time, and can we pause?
No booking is needed. You can start whenever you like, day or evening, because the app guides you rather than a live guide on a schedule. If you want a break for food or a drink, pause the game and continue later from where you stopped.
Is it suitable for children?
The story is about the dead of the city and its dark history, and it is written mainly for adults who enjoy ghost stories. Older children who like spooky tales may enjoy the puzzles, but younger children who scare easily would be better on a lighter walk.
