Per chi è
Starting at the Cleveland Museum of Art's south side entry, this 2.3 km route passes the Fine Arts Garden, Kelvin Smith Library and Severance Music Center, inspired by L. Frank Baum's 1900 Oz novel. Friends who would otherwise book an indoor escape room get about 90 minutes of outdoor teamwork, and solo puzzlers can race the leaderboard. Pick something else if you want a live guide or shelter from the weather.

Qualche risposta prima di partire
Domande frequenti
Is the Oz escape a scheduled event, or can we go any day?
It is not a fixed-date event. You play it on your phone whenever suits you, with no booking slot and no guide to meet. Open the app at the start point, and the story and puzzles begin when your group is ready.
Is this an escape room in Cleveland?
It is an outdoor escape-room-style game. Instead of a locked room, you follow clues between real places such as the Fine Arts Garden, Kelvin Smith Library and Severance Music Center, solving puzzles to outsmart the witch. Expect around 90 minutes and 2.3 km on foot.
Where does the game start?
It starts at the South Side Entry of the Cleveland Museum of Art. From there the app leads you to stops including the Mary Chisholm Painter Arch, the Peter B. Lewis Building, Freiberger Field and Severance Music Center.
Is it a kid-friendly escape room?
Families with kids or teens play it together, and the Oz story and original songs suit younger fans of the book. The puzzles are built for teamwork, so older children and teens who enjoy problem solving will get the most from it, with adults helping on the walk of about 2.3 km.
Can our group play together, and can we take a break?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, so friends, families or work teams can solve the puzzles together, or you can play solo for the leaderboard. You can pause at any point and continue later from where you stopped.
