Domande frequenti
Is there an outdoor escape room in Carrollton, TX?
Yes. This is an escape-room-style game you play outdoors on your phone around Carrollton's City Square. Clues lead you to 12 stops along streets like Elm St and S Broadway St, where you solve puzzles to outsmart the witch in a story inspired by Baum's original Oz novel.
How is this different from booking a regular escape room in Carrollton?
There is no time slot to book. You start whenever you like, play outdoors on real streets instead of in a locked room, and can pause and continue later. One ticket covers your whole group, so friends can team up on the puzzles together.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
The game starts at City Square on the corner of S Broadway St and 4th Ave. Plan on around 90 minutes to walk the roughly 2 km route and solve the puzzles, though you can stop and pick it up again later.
Is it a good choice for kids?
Families with kids or teens do play it, and the Oz story and songs suit younger fans of the tale. The puzzles call for reading clues and teamwork, so older children will get the most out of it, and everyone needs to manage about 2 km on foot.
Is the game outdoors, and what if it rains?
The whole game takes place outdoors around City Square and nearby streets, so dress for the weather. Since there is no booking slot and you can pause at any point, you can wait out a shower or finish the route on another day.
