Is this the Odyssey nightclub in Bristol?
No. This is a self-guided walking quest played on your phone, not a club or a sound system. It takes you around Bristol's music venues and pubs, such as Thekla, The Louisiana and O2 Academy, telling the story of each place and setting a puzzle at every stop.
Where does the music walk start and how long does it take?
It starts at St Georges and finishes back there, covering about 3.1 km with stops including Arnolfini Arts, St Nicholas Market, The Gryphon and The Old Duke. Allow 2 to 2.5 hours, more if you stop for a drink. Some sections may be affected by temporary construction work.
Do we need to book a time, and can we pause?
There is no time slot to book. Start whenever you like, pause at any point and carry on later. We recommend playing in daylight rather than at night. It is an outdoor walk between venues, so dress for the weather.
Can a group of friends play on one ticket?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated. Everyone follows the same route, stories and puzzles together, which makes it easy for a few friends to share the walk and take a break at one of the pubs on the way.
