L’esperienza
Informazioni su questa esperienza
After your grandfather’s passing, all you expected was silence. Instead, you find whispers—fragments of poetry and riddles left scattered across the streets of Barcelona.
Unknown to most, he was a secret poet, hiding his most meaningful verses near the places he loved most. Now, it’s up to you to follow his clues, solve the puzzles he left behind, and preserve the beauty of his words. But beware—your cousin is on the same trail, eager to erase the legacy for good.
This quest takes you on a poetic journey through Barcelona’s hidden corners, blending mystery, memory, and emotion. Perfect for families, friends, and romantics at heart, it's more than a walk—it's a race to honor the past before it’s lost forever.
Fa per voi?
Per chi è
Poetry lovers, couples and adults who like a story with feeling will enjoy following a late grandfather's hidden verses and riddles across the old town, from Plaça de Catalunya past Els Quatre Gats, the Boqueria and Santa Maria del Mar to Arc de Triomf. Expect an emotional mystery rather than a history lecture. Anyone who cannot manage 4.6 km on foot, or wants a live guide to question, should pick something else.

Domande frequenti
Where does the poetry walk start and finish?
It starts at Plaça de Catalunya and finishes at Arc de Triomf, so it is not a loop. In between you pass Café Els Quatre Gats, Santa Maria del Pi, the Boqueria, Las Ramblas, the Cathedral, Plaça del Rei, Santa Maria del Mar and Parc de la Ciutadella.
What is there to do at Plaça de Catalunya?
Plaça de Catalunya is the first stop of this quest. From there the app leads you on foot to Café Els Quatre Gats, Espai Quera and Santa Maria del Pi, telling the story of each place and setting a puzzle based on what is in front of you.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take around 2.5 to 3 hours, walking and puzzles included. The route covers about 4.6 km through the old town and ends at Arc de Triomf. You can pause at any point and continue later if you want a coffee or a longer look somewhere.
Is it suitable for children, and can we play as a group?
The story begins with a grandfather's passing and is aimed mainly at adults and couples, and the walk is 4.6 km long, so it may not hold younger children. Groups are welcome: one ticket covers the whole group playing together.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No booking or group to join. You start whenever you like on your phone and can pause and pick it up later. For a calmer walk, play on weekdays during working hours, when the busiest spots such as Las Ramblas and the Boqueria have smaller crowds.
