“The history of the Marais is fascinating, and the sites selected for this tour were really interesting. The clues themselves were mostly solvable, but the “password” clues… we had no idea what those were about? Some of the directions were hard to follow, even with maps open. For example, crosswalks were described as crossroads, which was misleading. and in one case we walked many blocks out of our way, looking for a mansion, which was hidden around a corner. Perhaps more precise instructions would be helpful, including providing street names of where the clues are exactly. A couple of times the answers we gave were correct, but were deemed wrong. We couldn’t figure out why. All that being said, I would definitely recommend this tour, because the history of the Marais is worth learning about.”
