Întrebări frecvente

Where does the salt mine game start and finish?
It starts at Salina Slănic Prahova (Mina Unirea) and finishes at the salt mine entrance and exit. Along the way the app leads you through stops such as the Saltwaterfall, the elevator shaft, the salt wagons, the planetarium and the Genesis room, in that order.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Most players take around 1.5 to 2 hours, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers about 1.7 km. You can pause the game at any point and continue later, so you can set your own pace.
Is it suitable for children?
The story is a horror tale about guards in a military laboratory who meet terrifying creatures at night, with five encounters along the route. It suits teenagers and older children who enjoy suspense. Young or easily scared children may find it too frightening.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, it works well for groups of friends and families, and the game is free to play. There is no time slot to book, no group to join and no guide. Start whenever you like on a phone and follow the app from stop to stop.
Does the weather matter?
The story stops are inside the mine itself, from the intercom and surveillance room to the salt wagons, planetarium and Genesis room, before you finish at the entrance and exit. That makes it a sensible choice for a rainy day in Slănic.
