E pentru voi?
Pentru cine este
Families with primary-school-age children and couples who like fantasy will spend about an hour learning spells, gathering relics and brewing a potion on easy puzzles around the Markthal, the Cube Houses and the Oude Haven. It is a 2.6 km loop that starts and ends at Nieuwe Delftse Poort. If you want true ghost stories or a live guide to ask questions, the light fantasy plot will not suit.

Câteva răspunsuri înainte de plecare
Întrebări frecvente
Is this a ghost tour or a horror story walk of Rotterdam?
Not really. It is a fantasy escape game: the city is under a dark spell, and you learn spells, fight dark creatures, gather relics of power and brew a potion to banish the darkness. The mood is spooky but playful, the puzzles are rated easy and it is tagged family friendly.
Does the route pass the Oude Haven?
Yes, the Oude Haven is one of the stops, between the White House and the Cube Houses. The app leads you there and to the other stops, including the Toonder Monument at the Markthal, the Laurenskerk and City Hall, so you do not need a separate map.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
You start at Nieuwe Delftse Poort and finish back there, so it works as a loop. The walk covers about 2.6 km and takes around an hour. You can pause at any point, for a coffee or a break, and continue later.
Is it good for kids?
Yes. The difficulty is easy and the quest is tagged family friendly, so it suits children of primary-school age who enjoy magic and riddles. The puzzles are solved in the real world, using what you see at each stop, which keeps children looking around rather than only at the screen.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
No booking is needed: start whenever you like, with no guide and no group to join. One ticket covers your whole group, within the number of devices stated for the quest, so everyone can follow the story and help solve the clues together.
