Yes. This phone-based walk leads you through places where the civil war of the constitutional wars was fought and where the rebellious people of Porto made their stand. It also touches on the years of dictatorship, with stops such as the Antiga Cadeia do Porto, Praça Carlos Alberto and the Base Militar de Santo Ovídio.
Where does the walk start and finish, and how long does it take?
It starts at the Museu Militar and finishes at the Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Lapa, so it does not end where it began. The route covers 4.4 km, and most players take about 2.5 hours, including walking and solving the puzzles along the way.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the route. There is no set departure and no guide to meet, so you can start whenever suits you and follow the app from the Museu Militar at your own pace.
Can we play in the evening, or stop halfway and carry on later?
The route is open 24/7, but it is better during daylight hours, when the views over the river and the buildings are easier to take in. You can pause the game at any point and continue later from where you stopped.
