Where does the Sidi El Houari walk start and finish?
The route is a loop. It starts at Place du 1er Novembre (the former Place d'Armes) and finishes at Jardin Ibn Badis. Along the way it passes Rozalcazar, the Pacha Mosque, Place Kléber, Église Saint Louis, the Mausoleum of Sid El Houari and Tambour San José.
How long does the quest take?
Most players take about an hour and three quarters, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers 2.7 km through the old quarter. You can pause at any point and continue later, so there is no need to finish it in one go.
Do we need to book a time or join a group?
No. The quest is played on your phone and you can start whenever you like. There is no group to join and no guide to meet, and it is free to play, so friends or family can simply walk it together at their own pace.
Is it an outdoor walk, and what if it rains?
Yes, the quest is a walk through the streets and squares of the old city, with stops at monuments such as the Pacha Mosque and the Mausoleum of Sid El Houari. Since you can pause and pick up later, you can wait out a shower and carry on.
