Despre acest quest
Forget every ghost story you've heard about this city. This Halloween, ten restless spirits are loose on its streets. 👻 No history book knows their names. No tour guide has heard of them. Most are just lost souls. One is lying to you. 💀
A hooded Oracle needs a ghost hunter. Every spirit is stuck on unfinished business: solve its mystery, catch it, and it gives up a clue. Follow the trail across town, crack ciphers and riddles (some only the street itself can answer), then name the Evil One and destroy it before it finds you. 🕷️
E pentru voi?
Pentru cine este

Friends, couples, families with older kids and escape-room fans get around 90 minutes of play on their own schedule. Anyone wanting a live guide to tell the stories should choose a guided walk.

Întrebări frecvente
Is this a guided ghost tour?
No. There is no live guide. The app on your phone leads you from stop to stop, tells each ghost's story and sets the puzzles. You can start at any time, with no fixed departure and no group to join, which suits people who want to play rather than listen.
Is there a Halloween scavenger hunt in Newark, OH?
Yes, this is one. The story is set at Halloween, with ten restless spirits loose on the streets. You solve each spirit's mystery, catch it and collect a clue, cracking ciphers and riddles along the way, some answered only by looking at the street around you, until you name the Evil One.
Is this real ghost hunting?
It is a story game rather than a paranormal investigation. The ten spirits are fictional: no history book knows their names. A hooded Oracle sends you to catch them across town, and one of them is lying to you. The places you visit, like the Midland Theatre and First Presbyterian Church, are real.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
It starts at the Canal and Lock Mural and covers about 2.1 km past seven stops, including the Licking County Court House and the Louis Sullivan Building. Plan on around 90 minutes. You can pause at any point and pick up where you left off later.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the quest, so friends or a family can play together. There is no time slot to book: start whenever suits you, day or evening, and take breaks as you go.
