Ghost story fans, couples and friends after an evening or Halloween plan will walk 12 stops along Hollywood Boulevard, hearing tales of suicides, unsolved murders and lingering spirits at the Pantages, the Knickerbocker and the Roosevelt, starting whenever they like. Yes. Your phone leads you on foot through 12 stops in Hollywood, telling the ghost story of each place and setting a puzzle in what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join. The route is 4.4 km and takes about two and a half hours.
Is the Pantages Theatre haunted?
The Hollywood Pantages Theatre is the first stop, and the quest opens with the ghost story tied to its dark history. You hear it from outside, because going into the places on the route is not part of the experience.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre and finishes at the Parisian Florist, so it does not return to the start. Along the way you pass Musso & Frank Grill, the Egyptian Theatre, Marilyn Monroe's star, the TCL Chinese Theatre and The Hollywood Roosevelt.
