Despre acest quest
🍀 The Case of the Lost Luck: An Outdoor Detective Mystery Game 🍀
Fortune has faltered with the mysterious disappearance of the Golden Shamrock. As luck spirals into chaos—clocks stop, signs fall, and the bakery's ovens cool—you are summoned to unravel this enigma.
Was it the reticent leprechaun, Rusty, with his mischievous past? Finn McGuire, the desperate pub owner last seen with the shamrock? Or perhaps the mayor himself, whose ambitions might be fueled by the town's misfortune?
E pentru voi?
Pentru cine este
This 2.1 km loop starts and ends at Charleston City Hall, passing the Powder Magazine, Dock Street Theatre and the Farmers' and Exchange Bank as you weigh up a leprechaun, a pub owner and the mayor as suspects. Friends, couples and families who like a light detective puzzle get about 90 minutes outdoors. Anyone wanting a ghost tour or an indoor escape room should look elsewhere.

Câteva răspunsuri înainte de plecare
Întrebări frecvente
Is this like an escape room in downtown Charleston?
It shares the puzzle-solving and the case to crack, but it is played outdoors on your phone. You walk about 2.1 km through downtown Charleston, solving puzzles built around what you see at each stop, and you can start any time without booking a slot.
Is there a treasure hunt in Charleston?
Yes. This one is a self-guided detective mystery: the Golden Shamrock has vanished, and you work out whether Rusty the leprechaun, pub owner Finn McGuire or the mayor is behind it. The app leads you through stops including Institute Hall, the Powder Magazine and the South Carolina Historical Society.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
It starts and finishes at Charleston City Hall, which makes it easy to plan around. Expect around 90 minutes to walk the 2.1 km route and solve the puzzles, though you can take longer, and you can pause and pick it up again later.
Can our group play together on one ticket?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the quest. There is no tour group to join and no guide to wait for, so friends or family can start together whenever it suits you.
Is it played outdoors, and what if it rains?
The whole game takes place outdoors on the streets of downtown Charleston, so dress for the weather. Because you can pause and continue later, you can duck out of a shower or stop for a meal and carry on when you are ready.
