Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Muzeul Satului, the village museum, and loops through the grounds past the fulling mill, lime kiln, Joagărul Sawmill, two shepherd settlements and several traditional houses. It finishes at the Village Well, close to where you began.
How long does it take?
Most players take about an hour, including walking and puzzles. The stops are close together, around 0.1 km in total, so the time goes on stories and puzzles rather than walking. You can pause and continue later if you want a break.
Is it free, and do we need to book a time?
The quest is free to play, and there is no time slot to book. You start whenever you like on your phone, with no group to join and no guide, so friends and families can play together at their own pace.
Is it good for kids?
Yes, it is a family favourite. The route is short and compact, and each puzzle is set in the homes, workshops and shepherd huts in front of you, which suits school-age children. Younger children may enjoy the places more than the puzzles.
Can we pause and continue later?
Yes. The app lets you pause at any point and pick up again later from where you stopped, which is handy if you want a longer look inside one of the houses or a rest between stops.
