Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the Vasil Levski Monument and finishes at The Herald of Freedom Monument, so it does not return to where you began. On the way you pass the House-Museum Nikola Voyvodov, the St. Sophronius sites, Ascension Church, the Meshchiite and Kurtpashova towers, and the Bolyarska Underground Church.
Does the walk include the Freedom Monument in Vratsa?
Yes. The Herald of Freedom Monument is the final stop, reached right after The Steps to Freedom. The route builds up to it through the story of Vratsa's liberation from Ottoman rule, so it makes a fitting end to the walk.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take around 1 hour 45 minutes, including walking and solving the puzzles at each stop. The route covers 2.9 km through the town, so wear comfortable shoes and allow close to two hours.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends or family can follow the route on one phone, read the stories of each place and work out the puzzles as a team.
