Starting at LBC in Stockton, a 2.2 km walk of around 90 minutes follows a whistleblower's leads on The Kingmakers, a secret society pulling strings behind world leaders, with codes to crack outdoors. If you want a haunted, Halloween-style scare, pick something else: this is a conspiracy puzzle, not a ghost story.

Is this like an escape game?
It works on the same idea: you follow clues and solve puzzles to expose The Kingmakers before their next scheme. The difference is that you play outdoors on your phone, walking a 2.2 km route through Stockton, rather than being locked in a room, and there is no booked slot.
Where does the game start?
The game begins at Point 1, listed in the app as LBC. Once you start there, the app leads you from place to place, tells you what each stop is about and sets the next puzzle using what is in front of you.
How long does it take and how far will we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes, covering about 2.2 km on foot. The time depends on how quickly your group cracks the codes. You can pause the game whenever you like and continue later, so a coffee break will not cost you progress.
Is it suitable for children?
The story of a secret society manipulating world leaders and the code-breaking puzzles are aimed at adults and teenagers, so families with teens are a good fit. Younger children may find the conspiracy plot and the puzzles hard to follow over a 90 minute walk.
