Day-trippers arriving by bus, visitors staying nearby for Krka, couples and families get Šibenik's medieval old town in one compact walk of 1.8 km and around 90 minutes, from the Duke palace and the double rampart to the Cathedral of St. Jacob and the story of its 71 carved faces of ordinary people. Anyone who cannot manage varied terrain and changes in elevation, or who wants a live guide to question, should choose something else.
