Qualche risposta prima di partire
Domande frequenti
Is this an escape room in Rockford, IL?
It is an outdoor, escape-room-style game played on your phone in downtown Rockford. Instead of a locked room, you follow clues from place to place and solve puzzles in what is in front of you, while a story inspired by L. Frank Baum's 1900 Oz novel pits you against the witch.
Where does the game start and which places does it visit?
It starts at Beattie Park and finishes back there, so you end where you began. Along the way the route takes in spots such as the Winnebago County Circuit Court, the Lafayette Hotel, the Luther Center, Second Congregational UCC/First Presbyterian Church and the Coronado Performing Arts Center.
Can we play it as a group outing in Rockford?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends, families, birthday or work groups can solve the puzzles together. If you prefer to play alone, you can take on the challenges solo and compete on the leaderboard.
How long does it take, and do we need to book a time slot?
Plan on around 90 minutes. There is no time slot to book: you start whenever you like from Beattie Park, and you can pause the game and pick it up again later if you need a break or want to stop for food.
Is it played outdoors, and what if it rains?
The whole game takes place outdoors on foot through downtown Rockford, moving between real locations. Check the weather before you set off and dress for it, or use the pause feature to wait out a shower and continue later.
