Yes. This walk follows the Douro out to the Atlantic, starting at Ponte da Arrábida and passing Fonte da Cantareira, the Lighthouse of São Miguel-o-Anjo, Passeio Alegre and Forte de São João Baptista in Foz do Douro. Your phone leads the way, tells each place's story and sets a puzzle.
Where does it start and finish, and how long does it take?
It starts at Ponte da Arrábida and finishes at Homenagem a Luis de Camões, so it does not end where it began. The route is 5.1 km, and most players take close to three hours including walking and puzzles. It is best played during the day.
Is there anything historical on the route?
Yes. The stories focus on Porto's maritime history, told at places such as the Lighthouse of São Miguel-o-Anjo, Forte de São João Baptista, the Nasoni obelisks on Passeio Alegre and the parish church of São João da Foz do Douro.
