Couples will like the Romantic path to the Botanical Garden. First-timers after the famous old-town sights, or anyone who cannot comfortably walk 5.8 km, should pick another route.

Which hidden side of Porto does this walk show?
It keeps to the lesser-known, green side of the city: the Crystal Palace Gardens and Emile David Gardens, the Botanical Garden and Park, Quinta da Pena, Tait House, Caco Fountain and a miradouro, with art and architecture such as the Faculty of Architecture along the way.
Where does the walk start and how long does it take?
It starts and finishes at the Super Bock Arena, so you end where you began. The loop covers about 5.8 km and takes around 80 minutes, including the stories and puzzles at each stop. You can pause at any point and continue later.
Can we play it in the evening or at night?
We recommend not playing at night. Much of the route runs through gardens, parks and a quiet residential area, and the puzzles rely on what you can see around you, so plan to walk it in daylight. The whole route is outdoors.
Do we need to book a time, and can a group play together?
There is no time slot to book and no guide to meet: start whenever you like from your phone. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends or a couple can play side by side.
