Where does the Broadway music walk start and finish?
It starts at Radio City Music Hall and finishes at Town Hall, so it does not return to the start. In between you pass Ellen's Stardust Diner, The Iridium, Sony Hall, the Richard Rodgers Theatre, the Lyric Theatre and the Paramount Building, about 2.2 km in all.
How long does it take, and will it fit before a show?
Most players take around 90 minutes, walking and puzzles included, to cover the 2.2 km route. You can pause at any point and continue later, so if curtain time comes early you can stop and finish another day.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends, couples or a family can follow the route on the app and solve the puzzles at each stop as a team.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. You start whenever you like at Radio City Music Hall. There is no group to join and no guide to meet; the app leads you from stop to stop, tells the story of each place and sets the puzzles.
Is it outdoors, and what should we bring?
The route is on the streets around Times Square, so bring a hat, sunscreen and enough water on warm days. Some checkpoints may have temporary construction work. You can also play while riding a bicycle if you prefer.
