Starting at Athens Square, this Queens route passes the Hellenic Cultural Center, P.S. 017 Henry David Thoreau and Astoria Fine Gourmet Deli, with Oz puzzles along the way in around 90 minutes. Friends, families with kids or teens, couples and Baum readers get escape-room teamwork outdoors, starting whenever they like. Anyone wanting an indoor room with a live game master, or unable to walk 2.3 km, should look elsewhere.

No. There is no fixed booking slot. You start whenever your group is ready, play on your phone as the app leads you from place to place, and you can pause and continue later if you need a break.
Is this escape game in New York good for kids?
It suits school-age children and teens who enjoy puzzles, with adults helping the younger ones. The story is based on the original Oz novel from 1900, the clues are solved as a team, and the route is about 2.3 km on foot, so very young children may tire.
