Where does the Bed-Stuy walk start and finish?
It starts at Fulton Park and finishes at Grand Enoch Lodge, so it does not return to the start. Along the way you pass Akwaaba Mansion, Macon Library, the Brooklyn Brownstones, the United Order of Tents, Capitoline Grounds, Teddy Bear's Birthplace, the John C. Kelly House and Boys High School.
How long does the walk take and how far is it?
Most players take about two hours, including walking and solving the puzzles, over roughly 3.3 km. You can pause at any point and continue later, so it is easy to stop for food or a rest between stops.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends or family can walk the route side by side, read the stories at each stop and work out the clues and riddles as a team.
Do we go inside any of the buildings?
No. Entering the places is not part of the experience. Every stop, from Akwaaba Mansion to Grand Enoch Lodge, is enjoyed from the street, where the app tells its story and sets a puzzle based on what you can see.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No booking of a time is needed. The quest is self-guided on your phone, so you can start at Fulton Park whenever suits you, with no group to join and no guide to meet.
