Where does the Broadway puzzle walk start and finish?
It starts at Studio 54 and finishes at Radio City Music Hall, so it is not a loop. In between you pass the Broadway, Winter Garden, Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, Music Box, Minskoff, Majestic, Lyric, New Amsterdam and Belasco theatres, in that order.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Most players take about two hours, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers 3.3 km through the theatre district. You can pause at any point and continue later, so there is time for a snack or a photo stop.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the phone, so friends or a family can follow the story and work out the clues side by side as you walk between the theatres.
Is it good for kids?
The story is light and silly, built around a confused hero, a mysterious word and an old woman who mistakes you for a TV star. It suits families with children old enough to enjoy reading clues and walking around two hours through busy streets.
Do we need to book a time, and is it outdoors?
No booking of a time slot is needed: start whenever you like, with no group to join and no guide. The puzzles are set at the theatre fronts along the street, so the game is played outdoors and you should dress for the weather.
