Qualche risposta prima di partire
Domande frequenti
Is this like an escape room in Memphis?
It is an escape-room-style game played outdoors. Instead of a locked room, you follow clues through downtown Memphis and crack puzzles set in the places in front of you to outsmart the witch, in a new story inspired by Baum's original Oz novel from 1900.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
The game starts in front of FedEx Forum. The route covers about 1.8 km and 11 stops, including the Ida B. Wells Marker, The Cadre Building and Strange Cargo, and most groups need around 90 minutes, depending on how quickly you solve the puzzles.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. Unlike a fixed-time indoor escape room, you can start whenever suits you, with no group to meet and no guide to wait for. You can also pause partway through and continue later, so a break for food or a drink along the route is easy.
Can we play as a group or on our own?
Both work. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends, families or work teams can solve the puzzles together. Solo players can take on the witch's challenges alone and compete against the leaderboard.
How does the app game work?
The app leads you from place to place, tells the story of each spot and sets a puzzle based on what you can see there. Clues reveal each new location as you go, and original Oz-themed songs made for the game play in the app and stay available afterwards.
