As you navigate the treacherous terrain of Neverland, brace yourself for the ultimate test—defeating the fearsome Captain Hook.
You can play at your own pace or against the clock, to compete with friends or hundreds of other teams around the world.
You are very much encouraged to amaze us with your fantastic costume. Memorable appearances will be rewarded accordingly with game-related prizes.

Families with children around 6 to 12 who love Peter Pan, Captain Hook and pirates get about 90 minutes of code-cracking and puzzle-solving on a 2 km loop around University Square in Carlton. It also suits friends or a birthday group who want an outdoor take on an escape room. If you want to stay indoors, or your children are too young to read clues and walk 2 km, choose something else.

Where does the Peter Pan escape game start and finish in Melbourne?
It starts and ends at University Square in Carlton, near the University of Melbourne, so you finish where you began. Along the way the route passes places such as Melbourne Connect, Piazza Italia and the Kathleen Syme Library and Community Centre.
How long does it take and how far will we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes to walk about 2 km while solving the puzzles. You can pause whenever you like, for a snack or a rest, and pick up again later from where you stopped.
Is it suitable for kids, and what age?
It works best for children around 6 to 12. The story follows Peter Pan's mission to outsmart Captain Hook's pirates and get the Darling children home, with codes to crack and mysteries to solve. Younger children will need an adult to read clues and help.
Can our whole group play on one ticket?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of phones stated for the ticket, so friends, families and party groups can play together and solve the clues as a team.
Do we need to book a time slot, and what if it rains?
No time slot is needed. You start whenever you are ready, with no guide and no other groups. The game is played outdoors on the streets of Carlton, so check the weather and bring a jacket or umbrella if rain is likely.
