Qualche risposta prima di partire
Domande frequenti
Is this a live escape game in Mannheim?
It is an outdoor escape game played on your phone, not a room with staff. The app leads you between Mannheim's statues and landmarks, tells the story of each place and sets riddles based on what is in front of you. You start whenever you like, with no group to join and no guide.
Where does the game start and finish?
It starts at Mannheim Castle and finishes at Der Löwe, so it does not end where it began. On the way you pass the Karl Friedrich statue, the Aryz Lion Mural, the Jesuit Church, the Trümmerfrauen-Denkmal, Paradeplatz, Blumepeter and the Wasserturm, among other stops.
How long does it take?
Most players take around 90 minutes to cover the 1.8 km route, including walking and solving the puzzles. You can pause along the way and continue later, so there is no need to finish it in one go.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, which works well for friends, couples and families. No attraction tickets are needed for any of the places on the route, and there is no set start time to book.
Is it suitable for children, and when is the best time to play?
It suits families with older children who can follow a story and work through riddles. The route is open 24/7 but is better in daylight, and since it is all outdoors, plan for the weather. Temporary construction work may affect parts of the route.
