Plan on about three hours and just over 6 km on foot, best done in daylight. If you would rather ask a live guide questions, or a 6 km walk is too much, choose a shorter route.

Is there an outdoor escape game in Westminster?
Yes. This is a self-guided city game played on your phone. It leads you through Westminster, from Westminster Abbey past Big Ben, Downing Street and Buckingham Palace to Trafalgar Square. At each place it tells the story and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you.
Does the route pass Buckingham Palace?
Yes. After St James Park and Wellington Barracks, the route reaches Buckingham Palace. It then continues to St James's Palace, Nell Gwynne house, the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Memorial and the Captain James Cook Statue before finishing at Trafalgar Square.
Where does it start and finish, and how long does it take?
You start at Westminster Abbey and finish at Trafalgar Square, so it does not return to the start. The route is about 6.1 km, and most players take around three hours, walking and puzzles included. You can pause and continue later if you need a break.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers the whole group playing together on the route. There is no group to join and no guide to meet, so you do not book a time slot. Start whenever suits you, preferably during the day.
Is it good for kids?
It is recommended for families and works best during the day. With about three hours and 6 km of walking, it suits children who are happy to walk that far and enjoy solving puzzles along the way. Very young children may tire before Trafalgar Square.
