No, this is a paid self-guided game played on your phone. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends or family can follow the ghost stories and solve the puzzles as a team without a guide or a fixed group to join.
Where does the ghost walk start and finish?
It starts at the Cathedral of the Holy Family in Exile and finishes at Marlborough Road, so it does not end where it began. Along the way you pass Lancashire Court Tile Mural, Brook Street, the Haunted House in Berkeley Square, Green Park and the Canada Memorial.
How long does it take and can we pause?
Most players take around an hour and 40 minutes, walking and puzzles included, over a route of about 2.8 km. You can pause at any point and continue later, so there is no need to finish it in one go.
Is it suitable for children?
The theme is horror and haunts, with ghost stories about trapped souls and statues that watched too long. Children under 12 can take part but should be guided by their parents, which makes it a better fit for families with older children who enjoy a spooky mystery.
Can we do it as an evening ghost walk, and do we need to book a time?
